Kenya’s Harambee Starlets will open their Africa Women Cup of Nations campaign with a clash against Zambia on November 18.

Starlets, who will be taking part in the tournament for the second time, have been pooled in Group B alongside defending champions Nigeria, South Africa and Zambia.

Hosts Ghana are in Group A alongside Algeria, Mali and Cameroon in what many has referred to as the Group of death. Kenya will then face South Africa on November 21 before winding up their preliminary matches with a clash against Nigeria on November 24.

Equatorial Guinea, who were champions in 2008 and 2012, will not play at this year's competition after being disqualified for fielding an ineligible player during their qualifying victory over Kenya.

The top three teams of the competition qualify automatically for the 2019 Fifa Women's World Cup in France.

Group A: Ghana, Algeria, Mali, Cameroon.

Group B: Nigeria, South Africa, Zambia, Kenya.
