Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr has joined hundreds of club fans in mourning the three followers, who perished in a road accident on Sunday.
Three fans died on the spot after they were involved in a grisly accident on their way to Machakos to watch Gor Mahia take on Thika United in a Kenyan Premier League match.
The deceased were reported to be members of Dandora Sharp-Corner Branch.
Kerr, who steered the team to a convincing 5-2 victory over Thika just a few hours after the incident said: “I would like to share my condolences and prayers to those fans who lost their lives coming to watch us play.
Kerr added: “On behalf of everyone at Gor Mahia, my technical team and chairman and executive members, we are always with you. My thoughts go to the family and friends.”
This is the second time that Gor Mahia fans have been involved in a road accident in the last one year.
