Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly ordered Arnaldo Gomes to stop training with them, while Argentine striker Jonathan Philippe and Darren Lurie will continue to be assessed.
The 19-year-old midfielder appears to have little impression during his week-long trial period.
Steve Komphela is expected to make a decision on Philippe later this week.
Reports suggest that the former Boca Juniors frontman has agreed a deal in principle should all go well, he will sign on the dotted line.
Lurie, formerly of Moroka Swallows, is still training and it’s believed that he could make an appearance in Saturday's Premier's Cup clash against Chippa United.
Komphela admitted a few weeks ago that his team needs a quality striker before the start of the 2017/18 PSL season.
