The Ghalca chief has advised Ghanaian clubs to be professional in order attract sponsors on board ahead of the new season

Ghana League Clubs Association chairman Kudjoe Fianoo has advised Premier League Clubs to position themselves very well in their search for sponsorship from companies.

With the top-flight lacking a headline sponsor, clubs are always struggling to balance their books including big boys Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.

“Sponsorships are rare in our league. We must value it and all clubs must endeavor to get [sponsorships] because it helps them to run the club in terms of finances” said Fianoo.

“The clubs should position themselves professionally, that is how they [should] run affairs because that is what will attract the sponsors to come.

"On the other hand, the fastest way for companies to market their stuffs and sell their products is through football because it has huge following so they must also utilise it,” he added.
