Wazito FC will take on AFC Leopards in a Kenyan Premier League match at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos on Wednesday.

The two teams met last year in GOtv Shield quarter-finals where Ingwe won 7-1 and went on to lift the crown. Head coach Frank Ouna says that is the past, and it will not play any part in Wednesday's encounter.

“We are going to attack them from the first whistle because we need to win. Yes, they defeated us but that was last year, we made mistakes and were punished, but this time round we have prepared well. No, we are not going to apply a defensive approach; it will be an open game.

“It is going to be an interesting match, but we are optimistic that we can get the win we are looking for,” Ouna told Goal on Wednesday.

Wazito have not won any of their last five matches in the top league where they have lost two.
