India's Sunil Chhetri has been chosen as last week's Fans' Asian Player of the Week, following his impressive performance in his team's 3-0 win over Kenya in the Intercontinental Cup.

Chhetri was exceptional, scoring two goals, as the Stephen Constantine's side put in an impressive performance against their African opponents. He was also named Goal's Asian Player of the Week.

Chhetri converted a penalty in the 68th minute after he was felled inside the box. In the dying moments of the game, Chhetri registered his second goal on the counter after he got in behind the sluggish Kenyan defence to lob the ball over a helpless goalkeeper.
