Eleven Wonders coach Enos Kwame Adipah says their underwhelming start to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Committee Special Competition is due to a lack of pre-tournament preparation.
Ahead of Wednesday's matchday four round of games, the Techiman-based side sit bottom of the table in Zone A, having lost all three games played to date.
Their last outing ended in a 3-0 reversal to Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
“We [declared ourselves] ready [for the competition] because we had to play, but we didn’t get good preparation,” he said, as reported by Sportsworldghana.
“We went on a long break, and to start a tournaments like this, you have to get an actual six-week pre-season.

“If not, then you have to use the tournament to do your pre-season and assessment of players.
“You can see the standard and materials is not up to the level. We didn’t get enough preparation but we have to accept the results."
Adipah also touched on the growing impatience of their fans.
“As for supporters, what they want is to win," he added.
"As to whether there is a bigger deficiency in your team or not, what they know is winning.
"So what they are doing is normal everywhere."
Although the Special Competition enters matchday four on Wednesday, Wonders will not be in action as their fixture with Stallions FC (formerly Wa All Stars) has been rescheduled.
Their next game will be at home to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
