Dylan Kerr disowned a lethargic Gor Mahia after his side was held to a 2-2 draw by Lydia Ludic of Burundi in the ongoing Cecefa Kagame Cup.

Gor Mahia survived a late scare to settle for a point after K’Ogalo won a penalty with one minute to the final whistle. Jacques Tuyisenge converted from the spot to salvage a point in a lacklustre performance by the Kenyan champions.

Kerr was not impressed by the overall display from his players and in the Englishman true characteristic style of hitting below the belt, the former Simba SC coach did not hold his feeling about his payers.

“Those were not my players. You should go to the dressing room and ask them that. We usually play beautiful football, I don’t know what is going on. They are not my players,” Kerr said in a post-match interview.

Despite the scathing attack on his players, who were also held by Rayon Sports in the opening match, Kerr is still optimistic of progressing to the next round.

All the teams in Group B have two points and the final round will determine the lucky two who will progress to the next stage.
