Group B finally witnessed win as Katsina and Imo got off to winning ways, while Abuja were also on song in Group A

Group A

Kwara 0-0 Osun

Muslim Community Secondary School, Kwara could not build on their win on the first day of the Copa Coca-Cola to get something past Progress Comprehensive High School, Osun as both sides played out a 0-0 draw on Tuesday.

The teams were unable to convert the few chances in the tie and thus, the result sees Kwara still top Group A with four points and superior goal difference while their Osun counterparts are third on the log with two points.


Yobe 0-1 Abuja

Fosla Academy, Abuja got off the block on Tuesday with a deserved 1-0 win over Government Junior Secondary School, Yobe.

A second half strike from Simeon Zeseri gave the FCT boys the win in an encounter in which they dominated for a long spell. And the win sees them move level on points with group leaders, Kwara as they only trail in second position by goal difference, while Yobe sit at the foot of the Group A standings.


Group B

Rivers 0-1 Katsina

Community Secondary School, Amadi-Ama, Rivers were dealt a blow as Government College, Katsina defeated them 1-0 in their second encounter at the Copa Coca-Cola National Finals on Tuesday.

The result means Rivers are left with a point while their Katsina counterparts have four points in the bag.


Imo 1-0 Kano

Owerri City College, Imo defeated Government Junior Secondary School, Gwale, Kano 1-0 in their second Group B encounter of the Copa Coca-Cola National Finals on Tuesday.

In the first half, Obinna Iwuajoku raced through on goal before finishing with a crisp left footed effort to give the boys from Imo a deserved win.

Although they had further chances to compound the woes of the boys from Kano, Imo had to settle for a 1-0 win.
