Congolese attacker Akolo fires Stuttgart past Wolfsburg

The Leopards attacker netted his second of the campaign in consecutive matches for the Swabians

Congolese attacker Chadrac Akolo scored the only goal as Stuttgart overcame Wolfsburg in a German Bundesliga match played at the Mercedes Benz Arena on Saturday.

The strike was the Leopards international’s second in consecutive matches for Stuttgart having opened his account with a consolation strike in the 3-1 loss at Schalke last week.

Akolo calmly converted Anastasios Donis’s cross shortly before half-time in torrential rain in southwest Germany.
