Cedric Bakambu on target in Beijing Guoan's unimpressive 2018-19 Chinese Super League ending

Cedric Bakambu found the back of the net as Beijing Guoan ended the 2018 Chinese Super League campaign with a 2-1 loss to Hebei China Fortune.

The 27-year-old capped his impressive debut campaign in China with a second-half goal as Guoan finished fourth in the league table with 53 points from 30 matches.

After Dong Xuesheng's first-half opener for Hebei, Bakambu levelled terms for the Beijing outfit from the penalty spot in the 47th minute.

Ezequiel Lavezzi grabbed maximum points for the hosts at the Langfang City Sports Center twenty minutes later.

The former Villarreal and Bursaspor forward took his tally to 19 goals in as many league games to finish as the second highest African goalscorer in the Chinese top-flight behind Nigeria's Odion Ighalo [21].
