The Indomitable Lions beat Morocco 1-0 in the reverse fixture last year but Seedorf now rates the Atlas Lions highly especially after they took part at the World Cup in June.
Morocco who are seeking their first ever victory over Cameroon did not progress past the Group stage at the World Cup but Seedorf feels they are a solid unit.
“It will definitely be a tough game,” Seedorf told JournalduCameroun.
“I consider Morocco as one of the best teams in Africa. A team that has experience from the World Cup and they were a bit unlucky in the few matches. But this will be a tough match. We are here to do our duty and to play our best and try to win the match.
“I am sure Morocco will try to do the same. Hopefully we can give people a good match. I have followed every match for Morocco for a long time.
“I think they are very talented team like always. Morocco has always had talent. But also for Morocco it is about building something that can be there for a long time.”
Morocco welcome back Juventus defender Medhi Benatia who was dropped for the last three Afcon qualifiers after featuring at the World Cup.
Seedorf on the other end has appointed Villarreal striker Karl Toko Ekambi as captain for the Morocco match.
Ekambi takes over the armband from Georges Mandjeck and is the third captain under Seedorf who has also previously appointed PSG’s Eric Choupo-Moting as skipper.
Cameroon have eight points and lead Group B in an inconsistent campaign for them, while Morocco trail by just a point on second spot.
