Neymar returning to Barcelona would not be a good move for the La Liga giants because he isn't a "team player", according to Louis van Gaal.
And while Barcelona are keen to bring Neymar back under the right circumstances, former club boss Van Gaal feels re-signing Neymar would be a bad move for the La Liga club.
"I think it's not good for Barcelona, but that's my opinion," the Dutchman told La Porteria de Beteve.
"Neymar is still a young player who can continue to develop. He must first learn to be a team player.
"Neymar is too individualistic, which is why I think Barcelona should be vigilant before deciding to get him back."
Neymar scored 105 goals in 186 games for Barca before leaving for PSG for a world-record transfer fee of €222 million (£195m/$260m).
He is now in his second season with the French outfit, having seen his first cut short through injury. The Paris club look set to roll to another Ligue 1 title, having opened up a 15-point gap at the top of the table with Neymar scoring 10 times and adding five assists in 14 league matches so far.
Their Champions League campaign has not gone as smoothly and the French club face a crucial clash with Liverpool on Wednesday as they continue to chase an elusive European title.
Neymar scored a brilliant hat-trick in a 6-1 win over Red Star Belgrade but has been held silent in the club's three other Champions League outings, a 3-2 loss to Liverpool and two draws with Serie A outfit Napoli.
A win on Wednesday would put PSG in prime position to advance from Group C, but the club sit a point back of both Napoli and Liverpool heading into matchday five.
PSG will return to the friendly confines of league play at the weekend, with a fixture at Bordeaux set to open up their December slate.
