Bloemfontein Celtic and Chippa United are keeping tabs on Orlando Pirates striker Thabiso Kutumela with a view of making a move for the player at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old forward whose last PSL appearance for Bucs was against Maritzburg United, has fallen out-of-favour at Soweto giants.

Recent reports have suggested that the 2015/16 National First Division (NFD) Golden Boot winner is unhappy due to lack of game time.

An impeccable source has revealed to Goal that Celtic and Chippa are some of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs that are monitoring Kutumela's situation at Bucs.

"His lack of game time at Pirates has attracted interest from clubs which are willing to offer him regular game time," the source told Goal.

"But he is still tied to a long term contract at Pirates and there's still time for him to impress the new technical team and change his fortunes at the club," the source added.

"So far Celtic and Chippa are some of the teams that have been keeping tabs on the player's situation," the source concluded.

Kutumela has made six appearances in all competitions for the Buccaneers - netting once against Platinum Stars last September.
