Awoniyi set for Liverpool return

Taiwo Awoniyi is set to cut short his loan spell at Gent and return to Liverpool this month, per Daily Mail.

Arrival of Crystal Palace attacker Alexander Sorloth at the Belgian top-flight is set to hinder Awoniyi's chances of playing regularly.

And the Nigeria youth international who extended his stay at the Merseyside club last summer, will return to Anfield this month as the Reds look for a club for him to complete the 2018-19 campaign.
