AFC Leopards midfielder Marvin Nabwire will undergo surgery on Tuesday.

The club have confirmed that the player will be operated on to repair his knee after an injury he picked against Sofapaka in Machakos.

The player is however, positive as he heads to the operation table. “As I am heading to my knee surgery today - I can confirm it has been a difficult couple of days - I'm positive and ready to take whatever challenge comes my way and come back stronger.”

The absence of Nabwire could be a huge blow to AFC Leopards, who are already struggling to win matches in the top flight.

Ingwe are scheduled to face Zoo Kericho in a league match on Wednesday.
