Albert Adomah's top form this season has put him in the news once again, this time for being named Aston Villa's Players' Player of the Season.
The Ghana international received the accolade at the club's End of Season Awards 2017-18 held on Sunday.
He was also among 15 players shortlisted for the Supporters' Player of the Season gong which ultimately went to James Chester.
With 32 starts in 37 Championship games for Villa, Adomah, the club's current top scorer, has netted 14 times, making him one of the hit men in the English second tier.
The tally sees him two goals above his 2013-14 campaign record of 12 while on the books of Middlesbrough.
In all, Adomah has 15 goals in all competitions, having also scored once in two League Cup appearances.
His exploits have not gone unnoticed with this latest honour.
Adomah recently earned a place in the English Football League Team of the Season.
The Ghana winger joined the Claret and Blue from Middlesbrough in summer 2016.
