Commentary

Well, that’s all from me for now. Until next time, thank you and goodbye!
While Everton remain in ninth place, Swansea are now five points clear of the relegation zone, and you feel one more victory could just edge the Welsh club clear of danger all together.
It’s all over at the Liberty Stadium, where Jordan Ayew’s strike has ensured Swansea take a share of the spoils from this one. It was the least the hosts deserved, with Sam Allardyce’s lethargic Everton lacking the conviction to claim the three points.
FULL TIME: Swansea City 1 Everton 1.
B. Baningime
Yellow Card
90' + 3' A booking now for Everton - Baningime picking up a yellow card for a foul on Carroll.
90' + 2' CLOSE! Brilliant work from Coleman, as he keeps the ball in and manages to shrug off Carroll before teeing up Walcott, whose cross is a good one, but Tosun can’t make contact.
90' + 1' Good work from Pickford, who rushes off his line to punch Carroll’s cross clear. There will be three minutes of stoppage time at the Liberty Stadium.
90' Everton clear the initial free-kick, but the hosts keep up the pressure and Dyer manages to force a corner, which Carroll will deliver.
89' Like Funes Mori earlier, Vlasic’s first involvement is to concede a needless free-kick, and Swansea can now launch a ball into Everton’s area…
N. Vlašić
W. Rooney
87' A third and final change for Everton, now. Nikola Vlasic is on in place of Wayne Rooney.
87' Baines puts in a wonderful delivery, but Funes Mori can’t stretch far enough to get onto the end of it.
86' Another chance for Everton to get the ball into Swansea’s area now, as Walcott draws a foul from Fernandez down the left.
84' Baningime is back to his feet now, and play will continue…
82' Baningime looks in a lot of pain here, after he was lunged into by Jordan Ayew. Lee Mason allows the play to continue, but Pickford reacts to prevent a low cross causing any trouble.
81' OVER! It’s Rooney who steps up to take the free-kick, but sends his effort just above Fabianski’s bar.
80' Clever play from Walcott, who slips clear of Dyer and draws a clumsy foul. Rooney and Baines stand over it…
79' Allardyce’s tendency to sit back is only allowing Swansea to increase the pressure on Everton’s defence, and now a switch to a five-man defence will only mean the Toffees drop deeper.
77' CHANCE! Funes Mori’s first action is to concede a free-kick, from which Jordan Ayew tees up Abraham, but the striker blasts his effort over.
Ramiro Funes Mori
Y. Bolasie
76' Indeed, here is that change, with Yannick Bolasie making way for Ramiro Funes Mori, who is back for Everton for the first time this season. It seems a needless change from Allardyce, whose side were back on the front foot following Swansea’s equaliser.
75' Allardyce has attacking outlets on the bench in the shape of Nikola Vlasic and Tom Davies, but instead the Everton boss looks to be preparing a defensive change, with Ramiro Funes Mori warming up.
74' SO CLOSE! Brilliant from Coleman to charge forward and gets on the end of Tosun’s cross, managing to prod an effort towards goal, only for it to clatter back off the crossbar.
T. Carroll
Assist
71' That goal has certainly been coming, with Swansea well on top. Coleman’s poor clearance allowed Carroll to loft in a cross, and Ayew kept his cool to hammer home.
J. Ayew
Goal
71' GOAL! SWANSEA ARE LEVEL! Allardyce has been asking for this with no action to change the course of this game, and Jordan Ayew - moments after Tosun had headed clear off the line - has just thumped in an equaliser. Can the hosts go on and win this now!?
70' Everton’s midfield has offered little protection to their back four today, and again one pass sees the Toffees’ ranks exposed, leading to a corner.
B. Baningime
I. Gueye
69' And here is a first change for Everton. Idrissa Gueye is making way, with youngster Beni Baningime coming on.
68' Swansea are right back on the front foot now, with Everton unable to maintain possession for any extended amount of time.  Eventually, the pressure is relieved when Bolasie wins a free-kick.
66' The ball finds its way to Rooney on the edge of Swansea’s area, but the former England captain sends his strike wide.
T. Abraham
Ki Sung-Yeung
65' An attacking change now from Carvalhal. Ki is off, with Tammy Abraham - who ended a 17-game run without a goal last week - coming on.
63' Ki curls in a brilliant corner that Mawson meets, but only manages to direct his header away from goal. Swansea keep up the pressure though, before Baines eventually manages to force a goal kick.
62' It is an extremely scrappy encounter at the moment, with Everton in particular far too poor on the ball - Gueye again guilty of conceding possession, and then a free-kick, in the middle of the park.
60' Baines concedes possession deep in Everton’s half, as Swansea hassle and press, but Gueye recovers to regain the ball and then win a free-kick.
57' CHANCE! Great work from Walcott, who spins clear of his marker before delivering a brilliant cross. Gueye is there to meet it, but sends a poor header well off target.
56' Rooney delivers a decent cross from the resulting free-kick, which Keane knocks down, but no Everton attacker had gambled on the ball falling in the area.
J. Ayew
Yellow Card
55' A first booking of the game now, and it goes to Jordan Ayew, who lunged in late and out of control on Baines.
53' Another half chance for the Toffees - Coleman charging down the right before chipping a cross into the area. Walcott manages to force the ball onto Tosun, but his strike is blocked.
52' A rare attack from Everton almost sees Walcott get through, but the winger isn’t quite able to cushion Tosun’s superb pass into his path, and Swansea clear.
51' SAVE! Again, Everton’s goalkeeper is called into action. This time it’s Andre Ayew who engineers space for a shot, but Pickford is on hand to parry it wide.
49' STAT - Carlos Carvalhal has won seven of his nine home matches as Swansea boss in all competitions (L2) – both of those two defeats were against Spurs, in the leagye and FA Cup respectively.
47' CHANCE! Keane’s poor clearance is latched onto by Carroll, who directs a header towards the far post. For a moment it looks set to drift in, but Pickford lunges across to hold onto it.
N. Dyer
L. Narsingh
46' The second half is underway! There has been one enforced substitution from Swansea - the injured Luciano Narsingh making way for Nathan Dyer.
The Swans also have an injury concern over Luciano Narsingh, so there could well be changes for the hosts at the break. If Everton are to maintain this lead, meanwhile, they will have to be much improved after the restart.
Against the run of play, it is Everton who have the lead at the Liberty Stadium courtesy of Kyle Naughton's own goal. The Toffees have been incredibly poor, with Swansea consistency causing the visitors’ trouble at the back, but they haven’t been able to make those chances count.
HALF-TIME! Swansea 0 Everton 1.
45' CLOSE! Great goalkeeping from Fabianski, who rushes off his line to prevent Walcott getting on the end of a long ball and doubling Everton’s lead.
K. Naughton
Own Goal
43' GOAL! Everton lead! Well, what an awful moment for Swansea! Coleman delivers a wicked cross from the right that Bolasie prods straight at Fabianski, who is then quickly back to his feet to keep out Gueye’s attempt on the rebound, only for the ball to deflect up into Naughton, who can only send it in. Mawson tried to clear, but the ball was clearly over the line.
40' CLOSE! Keane gets on the end of Rooney’s delivery and manages to nudge the ball goalwards, and Fabianski is out quickly to deny Walcott. The former Burnley man picks up the scraps, but his header lands on the roof of the net.
39' Sloppy from Fernandez, who charges in on Bolasie and concedes a needless free-kick in the middle of Swansea’s half, which Rooney will look to loft into the area.
37' Good tracking from Schneiderlin, who gets back to rob Narsingh of the ball just before the Dutchman could get a shot off. The former PSV winger has had to receive some treatment, but it looks as though he’ll be okay to continue.
35' After scoring twice and assisting another in his first two Premier League games for Everton, Theo Walcott has failed to score and provided just one assist in his last eight, and the former Arsenal man has struggled to make an impact so far today.
33' A decent spell of possession for Everton comes to an abrupt end, allowing Swansea to break, but Narsingh’s cross loops over Andre Ayew. The visitors then get a chance to launch a counter of their own, but Bolasie is far too sluggish before eventually firing a tame effort straight at Fabianski.
31' Half a chance for the Toffees, as Tosun does well to tee up Walcott, whose tame strike is blocked. Rooney picks up the scraps and sends a cross towards Bolasie at the back post, but the winger heads wide.
28' Extremely poor from Gueye! The Everton midfielder has had an abysmal game so far, and concedes possession twice in the space of two minutes - the first time almost results in an opportunity for the hosts, and the second time breaks down an Everton counter. The Senegal international needs to sharpen up on the ball.
26' CHANCE! Again, Everton’s defence are carved open by the Ayew brothers! Jordan picks out Andre, but the former West Ham forward directs his effort straight at Pickford.
25' STAT - Prior to today, since Sam Allardyce took charge at Everton, the Toffees have had 57 shots on target in the Premier League – with only Swansea (51) managing fewer in that time.
22' OFF THE LINE! Great defending from Tosun, who is in the right place at the right time to head Fernandez’s goal-bound header off the line. The rebound falls out to Carroll, but his effort sails over.
21' CHANCE! What a miss! Dreadful defending from Everton, who are opened up on the counter. The ball falls to Jordan Ayew in the area, with Gueye having slipped, but somehow Baines manages to deflect the striker’s effort wide.
18' The ball breaks for Ki 20 yards out, but the midfielder gets his first-time effort all wrong, slicing it into the crowd. It was far too easy for the South Korea international to pick up possession, though, and Rooney is understandably furious with his Everton team-mates.
17' STAT - Everton are looking to win back-to-back Premier League away games for the first time since September 2016.
15' Ridiculous play from Keane, who is fortunate not to concede a corner when his overhit back pass puts Pickford in trouble, but the former Sunderland goalkeeper reacts sharply to prevent the ball going out.
13' Everton are certainly on the back foot now, with Swansea piling on the pressure in search of an opener. A loose ball almost falls to Andre Ayew on the edge of the box, but Rooney manages to scamper over and intervene.
11' Clever play from Andre Ayew, who cuts inside before teeing up Ki. The former Celtic playmaker tries his luck with a first-time strike, but Pickford is equal to it.
9' Swansea are actually lining up with a lop-sided 3-5-2 system - Naughton drifting central and Narsingh playing in an advanced wing-back role. That is allowing the Ayew brothers to partner up in the final third, and Everton’s defence are under some pressure here.
7' A bit of pinball in Everton’s area almost sees Andre Ayew get a free shot at goal, but the Toffees manage to scramble it away.
6' Fabianski starts a swift Swansea attack with a raking pass that Jordan Ayew chases down before teeing up Carroll down the left, but Gueye recovers to hit it out for a corner.
4' Sloppy play from Mawson allows Bolasie to pounce, but he is quickly closed down on the left flank. Swansea counter, attacking down their own left wing through Olsson, but Jagielka is back to clear the full-back’s cross.
3' STAT - Swansea have only lost one of their last seven Premier League meetings with Everton (W2 D4), though it was in the reverse fixture this season (1-3).
1' KICK-OFF! We are up and running!
Almost time for kick-off in south Wales…
Wayne Rooney was not happy at being substituted in last week’s Merseyside derby, but Allardyce has nevertheless selected the midfielder today. He will play in an advanced role ahead of Morgan Schneiderlin and Idrissa Gueye, who is the only new face in Everton’s starting XI, having replaced Tom Davies.
Everton substitutes: Martina, Niasse, Funes Mori, Davies, Vlasic, Robles, Baningime.
Everton (4-2-3-1): Pickford; Coleman, Jagielka, Keane, Baines; Schneiderlin, Gueye; Walcott, Rooney, Bolasie; Tosun.
Tammy Abraham netted a late equaliser for Swansea against West Brom last time out, but the Chelsea loanee doesn’t make Carvalhal’s side today, as he makes way for Jordan Ayew, who is back from suspension. The hosts have also switched systems, going to a back four with Mike van der Hoorn dropping out for Ki, while Luciano Narsingh replaces Sam Clucas.
Swansea City substitutes: Van Der Hoorn, Abraham, Dyer, Nordfeldt, Routledge, Bartley, Roberts.
Swansea City (4-3-3): Fabianski; Naughton, Fernandez, Mawson, Olsson; Ki, King, Carroll; Narsingh, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew.
The team news is in from the Liberty Stadium…
The Toffees are in no danger of relegation, although the Everton fans have often been left frustrated by Sam Allardyce’s playing style and comments regarding the team. They bounced back from a heavy defeat to Manchester City with a 0-0 draw in the Merseyside derby, but have managed just two away victories this season.
The Portuguese was appointed as manager in the wake of Paul Clement’s departure - the former Derby County boss having lost his job following a 3-1 defeat to Everton in the reverse fixture at Goodison Park.
A six-game unbeaten run saw Swansea claw their way out of the relegation zone, but a streak of just one win in their last five league fixtures means that Carlos Carvalhal's side still find themselves in danger of the drop.
Hello! Welcome to LIVE coverage of Swansea City’s Premier League clash with Everton!
