For Levante, they have three days to regroup before a Copa del Rey clash with Girona in midweek that they'll be desperate to win - they have just the one victory in eight now. As for Atletico, they host Elche - and will also look to progress to the round of sixteen. Until then however, thank you for joining us - and have a good night!
It's been a hard lesson for Levante tonight as Atletico Madrid tore them apart in superb fashion. An own goal for Rober and two for Griezmann and Gameiro, Diego Simone's side have well and truly come alive in this match. What a display of footballing skill and passion. Full-time, it finishes Levante 0-5 Atletico Madrid.
90' + 2' Tonio is brought down by a reckless Koke challenge, 30 yards or so out from the Atletico goal and Levante will have one more chance to score a consolation goal. Bardhi takes the free-kick - and sends it sailing over for the final whistle.

Yellow Card
Atlético Madrid
90' + 2' Yellow card Jorge Resurrección Merodio
90' Carrasco cuts around the edge of the Levante box, only to be forced back - and then his long ball to Griezmann sees the latter caught offside. Two added minutes coming.
89' Garcia tries to tap a long ball inwards, only to pull his a long ball and send it wide on the right.
87' Nano goes near! He picks up Doukoure's long ball, wrongfoots Partey and slips the ball under Oblak, only to see it go wide by the far right post by a whisker.
85' Atletico look to spread it forward again through Griezmann and then playing out wide to Torres; Tono manages to come up with the tackle to pick up a loose ball though and shifts it back to midfield.
83' Nano goes close with an overhead kick off an Ivi cross, only to see it skew wide to the left from around the penalty spot. No sign of a consolation score yet for Levante.
82' Atletico's win tonight will take them level with cross-city rivals Real Madrid - and if the score remains as such, they will have a better goal difference by one too.
80' Torres goes close twice in a minute - the first time seeing his rocket effort deflected by a wonderful one-handed save from 15 yards out by Olazabal and his second scuffed wide to the left from 10 yards.
79' A chance for Levante now as Ivi lobs a cross into the box for Bardhi, only for the latter's half-baked volley to fly way over the crossbar.
Samu
José Luis Morales
Levante
77' Morales is the last change of the night, to be replaced by Garcia.
76' So close for Torres! Griezmann breaks in midfield again and could have gone for goal himself - but he instead opts to play it left to Torres who undercooks his shot and pulls it wide of the near post from just inside the box.
74' A throw-in for Levante in Atletico territory now as an Ivi cross is knocked out of play. They take it quick and the substitute lofts it into the box, only to find Oblak who reads it well and collects.
A. Fernández
Saúl
Atlético Madrid
73' Niguez is the latest change with Augusto on in his place.
71' The second half form of this Atletico side is outstanding, to put it mildly. Griezmann, utilised in a deeper role as a marauding midfielder today, has been absolutely fantastic - and he only is unable to guide another delivery to Torres due to a Moore cutback tackle to pinch the ball.

Goal
Atlético Madrid
68' It's two goals in three minutes for Griezmann! Gameiro gets a Godin through-ball in an almost carbon copy delivery of the last and this time goes for goal himself. Olazabal saves - but his deflection lands at the feet of Griezmann who buries it in the bottom left corner. Atletico Madrid lead 5-0 against Levante, in a wonderful, unshackled performance. Stunning stuff from the visitors.

Atlético Madrid
66' A change for Atletico now as Correa is replaced by Carrasco.

Goal
Atlético Madrid
65' And now Gameiro turns provider for Griezmann! The former takes Koke's finely-weighted ball on the right edge of the box, and then puts a wonderful flat pass across the box to his fellow French international who taps in at the far left post. Wonderful, almost psychic interplay between the pair.

65' Assist Kevin Gameiro
63' Atletico are merely toying with Levante now, Griezmann and Gameiro merely batting the ball forward with an almost effortless style. The pair are absolutely on fire.
61' It's nearly 4-0 too, as Gameiro gets another wonderful ball from Griezmann into the right flank of the Levante box. Instead of shooting himself though, he opts to play it back to Gabi - only for a lunge by the leg of Campana to rescue possession for the hosts and spirit it out of danger.

59' Three for Atletico! It's a second for Gameiro, who is picked out on the run in the box by a lovely, deep pass through the defence by Griezmann who weights it superbly to the striker, allowing him to slide it under Olazabal. 3-0 to Atletico.
A. Griezmann
Assist
Atlético Madrid
59' Assist Antoine Griezmann
57' They go close all of a sudden though; Unal gets into the box on the back of a rebound of the legs of Godin and he just sprays it across from the left at a sharp angle.
56' Ivi goes hunting a long ball down the left flank delivered by Morales; Partey does just enough to see it out. Levante are looking very flat and sterile in attack and defence right now.
José Luis Morales
Yellow Card
Levante
54' A booking for Morales now too after he clips Gameiro with a lazy foot.
53' Griezmann opts to put the kick into the box for a header rather than go for goal himself; Gabi's header only sends the ball out to midfielder, before Godin is trapped offside for the second delivery in by Niguez.
Ivi López
Jason
Levante
52' And it's the first change of the night too as Ivi comes on for Jason for Levante.
Chema
Yellow Card
Levante
52' A booking for Chema now, after he brings down Griezmann just to the right of the Levante box with a clumsy challenge. Free-kick to the visitors...
50' Olazabal's pass out to Tono is risky to say the least and the left back has to drag himself out of trouble down the touchline.
48' Atletico look to bring it downfield through Gameiro again after he picks up a long Koke cross, only for Jason to nip in and sweep it back to Olazabal.
46' We're back underway at Ciutat de Valencia with Morales immediately pressing the Atletico defence in the opening moves. They earn a throw after a Morales cross is deflected out by Savic, only to give it up cheaply to Correa who returns play to midfield with little difficulty.
Atletico will be very happy with how that first 45 minutes has played out, even if both of their goals have come around from serious opposition errors. A Rober own goal after from a Gameiro pass in the first five minutes looked to have set the tone - and Chema's trip over the football to grant the visitors their second is one for YouTube compilations of great footballing mistakes across the coming months. It's a long way back for the hosts; at half-time, it's Levante 0-2 Atletico Madrid.
45' Free-kick now to Levante though, only 25 yards out on the right after a foul on Jason. It's a well-struck ball from Bardhi - but it doesn't get the dip that he wants and sails over. Oblak goes to collect and as the clock ticks over, the referee blows for half-time!
43' Moore sweeps in a free-kick from the right of the Atletico penalty area looking for Morales, only to find Savic and the visitors see off the danger with a comfortable ease.
41' Partey slips through the underbelly of the Levante midfield again and clips it right to Gameiro who rockets into the box - and his shot is planted straight to Olazabal. Great stop from the keeper under pressure.
40' Partey swings it in for Godin, and Doukoure gets in the way to intercept and clear with a fine leap.
39' Corner now to Atletico as Griezmann gets the better of Moore on the right edge.
37' Correa tries his luck from 25 yards out again, and only guides it to the waiting Olazabal.
35' Corner now to Levante - who, to their credit, have responded to their mishaps in rather positive fashion, refusing to be played off the park in front of their home crowd. That own goal and freak second score aside, they're not actually as outclassed as the scoreline suggests. Atletico are clearly the better - yet the hosts are making chances and delivering some great tackles too.
33' The hosts go close though - so close! Una puts a header from a speedy free-kick just wide - had he caught it right, it'd have been a surefire goal, given the disarray Atletico's defence were in.
31' Diego Simone is still roaring like a man whose side was two goals down rather than two goals up. That was terrible defending by Levante - a comedy of errors at the back.
K. Gameiro
Goal
Atlético Madrid
29' That's not a goal Levante will want to see ever again. Koke puts a long ball downfield for Correa who collects as he approaches the left edge of the box. Olazabal comes out of his box to try and stop him - and the Atletico man wrongfoots him, then shoots. For a moment, it appears the hosts have escaped - Chema is across quick enough to clear. Instead, the defender stops the ball stone dead in front of the open goal-mouth, trips over it and is sent sprawling, leaving Gameiro to simply tap it in unopposed. What a snafu there.
28' Free-kick now to Levante, 40 yards out in centre-field, after a foul on Bardhi. He whips it into the box and finds Chema, only for his touch to knock it out in a cluttered area for a goal-kick.
26' The hosts give away a cheap throw and Atletico get one of their own just inside their half as Levante look to press forward again.
24' Gabi swings it in to Godin, who tries for an inventive overhead kick, only to be caught by the linesman's flag. Free-kick in their own penalty area to Levante.
23' Free-kick to Atletico now as Moore bodychecks Griezmann in a mid-air challenge. It's forty yards out on the left from the Levante goal...
21' Levante are looking more settled now after an opening ten minutes where they looked rather wobbly - but as Gameiro rolls through onto a Griezmann pass that cuts them open down the middle again, it's a sign of Atletico's class that they can prise them apart without breaking a sweat. It's a great save from Olazabal to deny the goal too though.
20' Morales tries his luck now after being supplied a pass to the left corner of the box, only to loft his effort over the crossbar by a good few feet. He can do better than that, for sure.
18' Close for Jason! Levante get a free-kick on the right which Morales sweeps in from twenty yards out to the central edge of the box where the attacking midfielder wraps his left foot around the ball and sends it wide. That could have been the leveller.
16' A heart-in-the-mouth moment as Gameiro rampages upfield with a long Luis pass and into the box. Chema is the last man - and he brilliantly manages to hook an ankle around the ball to steal possession, before he gets a free-kick for being fouled by the chasing Gabi.
14' Griezmann cuts through the middle of the park again and looks to slip a pass right into the box for Gameiro, only for Chema to get his legs in the way and steer the rebound out of danger with a deft touch.
12' Bardhi doesn't get the lift he wants on the ball and it rebounds into open play off the wall of Atletico defenders.
11' Free-kick to Levante now, 28m out on the left after a Partey tackle felled Bardhi. He will take himself...
10' Atletico are already hounding the Levante defence left, right and centre - with Griezmann lurking behind Correa and Gameiro, shifting sharp balls into the attack.
9' Gabi tries to slip a pass down the right wing to Gameiro, only to plant too much weight behind it, putting it straight to the hands of Olazabal.
7' That is the worst start possible for the hosts; to go a goal down by their own hand. The effect that will have on morale is crippling; Levante will have to pull themselves together sharpish if they hope to stand up to Atletico.

5' A disastrous start for Levante! Gameiro breaks down the right flank and slips a beautiful cross into the box for Correa - and in the process of bringing his body across to block it, Rober puts the ball into the back of his own net. Atletico lead within the first five minutes.
4' Doukoure gets a slick pass into the box down the other end from Morales - only for a ricochet off the legs of Savic to send the ball back into midfield and away from danger.
2' It's an early attack from Atletico and they earn a throw for Luis followed by a corner for Koke. He turns it in, and Rober is there to steer it away before Gameiro can get his head to the ball.
1' We're underway at Ciutat de Valencia as Levante look to follow up last week's first win in seven. The hosts are playing from left to right in burgundy and blue - the visitors are in all yellow.
Subs: Fernandez, Vietto, Carrasco, Gimenez, Torres, Hernandez, Moya
ATLETICO MADRID (4-4-2): Oblak, Savic, Partey, Luis, Godin, Koke, Niguez, Correa, Gabi, Gameiro, Griezmann

LEVANTE (4-5-1): Olazabal, Tono, Moore, Chema, Rober, Doukoure, Jason, Campana, Bardhi, Morales, Una
Teams in now...
It's a happy hunting ground for Fernando Torres here; he has scored in each of his last four La Liga games against Levante, three of them coming at Ciutat de Valencia. As for his manager though, Diego Simeone has taken charge of five La Liga games without a win at Ciutat de Valencia - only at Camp Nou does he have a worse record.
The Red-And-Whites could record their best unbeaten start to a La Liga campaign too against Levante, surpassing their historic season when they won the double of La Liga and Copa del Rey in 1995/96, when they went twelve games unbeaten, as they have now.
Though home form against Atletico is impressive, Levante's current form still leaves much to be desired. A win tonight would give them back-to-back victories in La Liga for the first time since April 2015 – which coincidentally was the last time they posted consecutive clean sheets too. The hosts have scored more of their goals in the fifteen minutes before half-time than anyone else this season, with 36 percent too; their opponents are yet to net in that timeframe.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the 2017/18 LaLiga as Atletico Madrid travel to Levante looking to keep up their challenge at the top of the table. The hosts are unbeaten in six at home against their visitors, last going down to their opponents on their own turf over a decade ago; but with Atletico unbeaten in 18 away games, something has got to give. Who will come up with the spoils? Kick-off is just around the corner.
