Yanga have prioritized signing central-midfielder Tafdzwa Kutinyu from Singida United to replace the injury prone Thaban Kamusoko.
It is understood Yanga’s interest in another Singida United midfielder Mudathir Yahaya has cooled and Yanga are prepared to let Simba’s Mohamed Ibrahim “MO” move to another Premier League club as they target Kutinyu who currently has a three match ban.
Kamusoko who signed a new two years deal at the start of the season has become injury prone since his setback injury early in the season which has kept him out for five months before he returned to the action late in March.
However his return hasn't been good enough as he has sustained several other injuries recently which have caused him to miss crucial matches including the last Dar es Salaam derby defeat against Simba.
Kutinyu who played all his team's matches against Yanga this season and he was outstanding when the two teams met in the Federation Cup in April 1.
Yanga who struggled up front when they played Simba on Sunday are also monitoring Wolayta Dicha’s Arafat Djako and Lipuli’s Adam Salamba in order to add more firepower ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup group stage matches.
