Struggling Vihiga United will be without three key players when they take on Zoo FC in a Kenyan Premier League match on Saturday.
Vihiga United will make a short trip to Kericho, but without Christopher Masinza, who now joins midfielder, Charles Okwemba and Martin Imbalambala on the sick bed.
Okwemba picked a knock in round two of the league while Masinza is expected to sit out for the first time this season after complaining of a knock picked against Post Rangers two weeks ago.
Imbalambala became another casualty after colliding with an opposing player in a 0-0 draw against Nakumatt last weekend.
“We have been hit hard by injuries. Imbalambala has a swollen knee while Masinza has been playing with the injury since Posta’s match. He will not be available this weekend, same as Okwemba,” Vihiga chairman, Indimuli Kahi told Goal.
Vihiga United are 17th on the log with three points, same as Zoo, who are bottom of the 18-team log.
