Former West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is set to take over as senior coach of Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittihad - the club featuring Australian central defender Matthew Jurman.
The Covert Agent can reveal the 50-year-old coach is the leading candidate for the vacant role, subject to agreeing personal terms.
Al-Ittihad sacked their previous manager Ramon Diaz after starting the Saudi Pro League with two consecutive defeats.
Bilic is most well-known for coaching the Croatian national team from 2006-12 and also leading the Hammers in England's top division from 2015-17.
As a player, Bilic helped Croatia finish third at the World Cup 1998 in his favoured centre-half role - the same position as Jurman.
The Split-born manager was linked with the Socceroos 2018 World Cup role before the appointment of Bert van Marwijk.
