The Cote d’Ivoire international has battled with injuries since his return to the Liberty Stadium from Manchester City, making just nine appearances in all competitions.
And after the ex-Vittese man marksman opened his account in their loss to Mark Hughes’ side, the Poland international is convinced the goal will be Bony's first of many more to come.
“From what I heard, Wilf is that kind of striker whose confidence will grow after a goal,” Fabianski told club website.
“He is a really massive help for the team with the job that he does up front.
“He has been an important player since he came back from injury and hopefully he will grow and grow as a player in the next few games.”
The 28-year-old will be looking to add more goals to his tally when the Swans welcome Ahmed Hegazi’s West Bromwich Albion to the Liberty Stadium on December 9.
Paul Clement’s side currently rock the base of the English Premier League log with nine points from 15 games.
