Bandari FC coach Paul Nkata has described match against Sony Sugar as a “do-or-die’ as he takes on the hosts in Awendo on Friday.

The double-winning coach with Tusker is set to play the Awendo-based side, thrice in three weeks with two Kenyan Premier League fixtures coming within a span of seven days.

Nkata arrived in Awendo on Wednesday, ready to take on the Millers in a league match with the return leg set for next Saturday in Mombasa. After that Nkata and his charges will play Sony Sugar on the weekend of August 19-20 in the quarter-finals of GOtv Shield.

"Away games are hard, and teams that have home advantage always are hard and anything is expected from them, but it is a great game and we shall give it our best effort. It is a do-or-die duel."

Bandari, who are eighth on the log with 22 points, are looking to pick themselves up after losing last league game to AFC Leopards at Mbaraki Stadium.

Sony Sugar, on the other hand, are a distant 14th on the log with 17 points from 16 matches.
