Real Madrid Team News: Injuries, suspensions and line-up vs Malaga

Everything you need to know ahead of Los Blancos' La Liga clash at La Rosaleda on Sunday...

Real Madrid need only a point in their game away to Malaga on Sunday to claim the Primera Division for the first time since 2011-12.

Zinedine Zidane's side beat Celta Vigo 4-1 on Wednesday night in their game in hand to move three points clear of rivals Barcelona ahead of the final round of fixtures and will be crowned champions if they avoid defeat at La Rosaleda.

Bale and James back for La Liga decider

Barca's superior head-to-head record in the two Clasico clashes played in La Liga this season mean the Catalans will win the title if the two teams finish level on points, but for that to happen, Luis Enrique's men must beat Eibar at Camp Nou and hope Madrid lose at Malaga.

Gareth Bale appears to have overcome a calf problem after being named in the match squad, while James Rodriguez is also included, despite missing the game against Celta.

Dani Carvajal is out after suffering a hamstring injury in the first leg of his side's Champions League semi-final win over Atletico. Pepe, meanwhile, is unlikely to be back and may have played his last game for the club.

Nacho was set to miss out through suspension at Celta after picking up a booking against Sevilla last Saturday, but that yellow card was overturned on appeal. The defender did not feature in Vigo anyway and is free to start on Sunday.

Cristiano Ronaldo was substituted at Balaidos to avoid the risk of a booking that would have seen him miss the trip to Malaga. He, Carvajal (out injured anyway) and Isco were all just one yellow card away from a ban, but the season will be over on Sunday and all three have escaped a suspension.

Nacho Fernandez Real Madrid

With Real Madrid fighting for the title this weekend, coach Zinedine Zidane will field a strong side against Malaga in the crunch clash at La Rosaleda.

'Lacazette has Atleti deal'

There will be no more rotation for Ronaldo, so the Portuguese forward will start in attack, probably alongside Karim Benzema, with Isco set to be included in a free role against his former club.

In defence, Nacho should return to the side at right-back in place of Danilo.

Madrid possible Malaga

Malaga are currently 11th in La Liga and the Andalusians can not finish any higher than that position, whatever happens in the game against Real Madrid. They also cannot finish any lower than 13th.

Kaka: Neymar is my favourite player

Coach Michel is a Madrid legend from his playing days, but he has said his side will give everything in Sunday's match, while former Barca striker Sandro Ramirez revealed he would like to score and hand the title to the Catalan club.
