The Guinean club has finally made a breakthrough to sign the Phobians’ winger as he is set to join the Conakry-based outfit this week

Ghanaian midfielder Patrick Razak has agreed to join Guinean side AC Horoya on a two-year deal from Hearts of Oak, Goal can confirm.

The 28-year-old, whose contract with the Phobians is on the verge of expiring, was believed to be heading to Kumasi after Asante Kotoko communications director Sarfo Duku revealed in an interview last week that they had met the player's agent and concluded talks.

However, Hearts quickly issued a statement to debunk the claims, insisting that the player will never be transferred to a rival club.

Eventually, Horoya, whose initial bid for Razak in January was rejected by Hearts, remained a long-term admirer of the winger and saw their improved bid accepted this time. An official unveiling of the player is expected to be held within the week.

Razak was part of the Ghana squad that won the 2017 West Africa Cup of Nations.
