Asante Kotoko coach Steve Polack has anticipated that their home game against Bolga All Stars will be a difficult game in the Ghana Premier League matchday 25 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Porcupines’ ambitions to clinch the league title this season took a nosedive after losing 2-0 against Wafa on Wednesday. They currently sit 10 points adrift of top spot.
However, he has warned his players against complacency ahead of Bolga meeting despite the latter being relegated with six games remaining.
“We lost against Wafa on Wednesday in the outstanding fixture and we have ourselves to blame considering the chances we missed. But Sunday’s game is a big game regardless of the position of Bolga All Stars,” Polack said.
“They are playing against Kotoko and the players will want to demonstrate the quality in case we might want to sign them. So it’s going to be tough and we going to approach the game with positive attitude,” he added.
The Kumasi-based side last lifted the league title in 2014.
