OFFICIAL: Putsche pens new Cape Town City deal

The Citizens revealed on Thursday that Putsche had put pen to paper on a new contract

Cape Town City have announced that Austrian midfielder Roland Putsche has signed a new two-year deal.

The Cape Town outfit confirmed on their social media platforms on Thursday.

Putsche has been one of City's standout performers this season, helping the club to their first major trophy (Telkom Knockout Cup) late last year.

He has also been an integral member of Eric Tinkler's men, who are strong contenders for the league title.

“Adjusting to the game in the PSL is not always the easiest task, but Roland has become an integral member of the team- breaking down and dominating every midfield CTCFC face," said the club in a statement.

“Off the field, he has really taken to the city of Cape Town and the wonderful people in it. Roland and the club are both very excited for the future and we wait many more special moments from a true team player,” the club said.
