Eleje stressed that they will prove to the People’s Elephant that their first leg 2-0 home win was no fluke when they face them again at the UJ Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
The former Enyimba midfielder opined that their motivation ahead of the tie is to ensure that they remain in the top five in the league table ahead of the World Cup break and that they will be eager to surprise Paul Aigbogun’s men.
“We arrived from Katsina safely and are now fully focused on the Sunday league tie with Enyimba with emphasis on picking a positive result that ensures we remain in the top five,” Eleje told Goal.
“We are not afraid of Enyimba because the fixture between us and them ended in a narrow win for them last season but we have surpassed that with the 2-0 defeat we handed to them at the start of the current season.
“We want to show them are current fourth position is no joke. Though we didn’t come with a full-strength side because of Ebenezer Odeyemi’s wedding on Saturday we are ready to give a good account of ourselves and leave Calabar with a good result.”
