Nakumatt FC left back John Njoroge is hopeful that the club will remain in the Kenyan Premier League at the end of the season despite a woeful start.
The left footed utility player has encouraged his teammates to put more effort for the achievement of the same in the coming matches.
“For sure we don’t have other options now but to put more effort in every match ahead so as we can get ourselves out of the (relegation) position,” Njoroge told Goal on Thursday.
Nakumatt under the stewardship of coach Antony Mwangi has an uphill task in figthing to avoid the chop from the top flight.
The Shoppers will face Bandari in their next Kenyan Premier League assignment.
