Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has said he is interested in a return to former side Rangers

The 33-year-old has fallen out of favour with the Championship side, making just three appearances this season. 

Adam began his professional career at Ibrox and also played alongside Rangers boss Steven Gerrard at Liverpool.

Trabzonspor are interested in free agent defender Walker Zimmerman, reports Fanatik

The Turkish side are looking to sign the 25-year-old, who has played six seasons in MLS - five with FC Dallas before most recently playing for Los Angeles FC

Zimmerman has been capped four times by the U.S. national team. 

City won't sign Fernandinho cover in January


Manchester City won't look to sign cover for Fernandinho in January, according to ESPN FC. 

The 33-year-old has missed two games this season and City have lost them both: a 3-2 loss to Crystal Palace and a 2-1 defeat to Leicester City.

But the club will not sign a new holding midfielder this month and also won't recall Douglas Luiz or Aleix Garcia, who are both on loan with sister club Girona

Huddersfield to sign Puncheon on loan


Huddersfield Town will sign winger Jason Puncheon from Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season, reports The Sun. 

The 32-year-old has seen his playing time at Palace diminish, making just five Premier League appearances this season. 

Puncheon's contract with Palace expires at the end of the season, and he can earn a longer deal with Huddersfield if he performs well. 

Celtic to make loan move for Burke


Celtic are set to make a loan move for West Brom winger Oliver Burke, claims The Sun. 

The 21-year-old is out of favour with the Baggies, and Brendan Rodgers is hoping to take the Scot for the second half of the season. 

Millwall and Wigan have also registered an interest in Burke. 

Earthquakes sign Espinoza on loan from Villarreal


The San Jose Earthquakes announced that the club has acquired forward Cristian Espinoza on loan from Villarreal.

Espinoza most recently feature on loan for Boca Juniors, who reached the 2018 Copa Libertadores final, and has been sent out on a series of loans since joining Villarreal in August 2016.

“I’ve known Cristian since his days with Huracán and have had the pleasure of watching his development over the years,” said Earthquakes head coach Matias Almeyda.

“I believe San Jose is a place he can thrive and make the next jump in his career. We’re looking forward to his contributions to the club and helping him realize his full potential.”

AC Milan after Gabbiadini


AC Milan are after Southampton's Manolo Gabbiadini, according to Sky Sports.

The Premier League club have put the Italian up for sale as he's made only one cameo appearance under new manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Fiorentina and Bologna are also interested in taking Gabbiadini back to Italy.

Guangzhou Evergrande make offer for Malcom


Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande have made a €50 million (£45m/$56.7m) bid for Bacelona's Malcom.

The winger joined the Spanish side this summer, but has made just nine first-team appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals.

Now, the Chinese Super League club is making a push to sign him with manager Fabio Cannavaro looking to add him to a squad that also inlcudes Paulinho.

Liverpool delaying decision on Camacho


Liverpool are in no rush to make a decision on Rafa Camacho, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Sporting CP are leading the race to sign their former player on loan, but Liverpool are looking to hold onto Camacho until at least after their FA Cup tie with Wolves.

Liverpool are open to loaning him out after, though, with Championship clubs also interested. 

Galaxy name Schelotto manager


The LA Galaxy have named Guillermo Barros Schelotto the club's new manager.

Schelotto joins the club from Boca Juniors after leading the club to two league titles and a Copa Libertadoes final appearance.

The Argentine is familiar in MLS as well, having led the Columbus Crew to the 2008 MLS Cup title as a player.

Orlando's Foster joins Monaco


Orlando Pirates' Lyle Foster has signed with Monaco, the club announced on Wednesday

The 18-year-old South African striker will join the club's reserve team and has become the youngest Pirates player to move to a Top Five European league.

“It is such an honour to see Lyle moving to a big club at such a young age. As a person who is passionate about youth development, this is the type of thing that makes the long hours all worth it," Orlando Pirates Head of Youth Development Augusto Palacios said.

“Lyle came into my hands as a baby at 13 years old now here he is on the verge of making the biggest move of his career. I would like to wish him the best of luck and also thank the Foster family for their active involvement in their childs’ development.”

‘Ozil’s future is with Arsenal, end of story'


Mesut Ozil's agent has refuted rumours that the Arsenal star could leave the club, saying that the midfielder "does not want to be anywhere else".

Ozil has been left out of the lineup for "tactical reasons" in recent weeks, but his agent insists that Arsenal is still his long-term home.

Monaco set to sign Naldo


Monaco have reached an agreement to sign defender Naldo from Schalke through the summer, according to Sky Sports.

Naldo is said to be undergoing a medical with the club, who are currently facing the threat of relegation from Ligue 1.

The defender's contract is set to expire in 2020, but he will spend the next six months on loan under Thierry Henry. 



Chelsea consider Premier League loan for Abraham


Chelsea are considering a Premier League loan for Tammy Abraham following the forward's success with Aston Villa.

Maurizio Sarri has recently stated that he will not call Abraham back as a striker option, but the club is open to loaning him out within the top division to continue his development.

Solanke's potential move to Crystal Palace breaks down


Liverpool forward Dominic Solanke will not be moving to Crystal Palace on loan as a potential deal has now been scrapped, according to the Sun.

The deal has fallen apart due to Solanke's fitness, as the forward has recently been out of action due to "muscle problems".

Palace are in need of a striker that can play immediately as the club looks to solidify their spot in midtable. 

Ajax confirm Magallan deal


Ajax have confirmed the signing of Argentine defender Lisandro Magallan from Boca Juniors.

The 25-year-old has signed a four-and-a-half year contract at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Prem duo keen on Kessie


Chelsea and Tottenham will make a move for Franck Kessie in the summer, according to tuttomercatoweb.

Paris Saint-Germain and Chinese Super League sides are also interested in the Ivory Coast midfielder, though it's understood he isn't interested in a move to China.

Kessie's future is likely to rest on whether the Rossoneri qualify for the Champions League, with a failure to reach the competition making a €40million (£36million/$45million) move in the summer more likely.

Sevilla turn their attention to Bailly


Sevilla are considering a bid for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly this month, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Bailly has struggled for regular action at Old Trafford this season, making just eight starts in all competitions.

However, the fee could be a stumbling block to any deal, with United keen to recoup much of the £30million (€33million/$38million) they paid Villarreal in the summer of 2016.

Bruce appointed Sheffield Wednesday manager


Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed the appointment of Steve Bruce as their new manager.

Bruce will officially take charge of the Yorkshire club on February 1, with Steve Agnew and Stephen Clemence taking caretaker charge until then.

Former Aston Villa boss Bruce succeeds Jos Luhukay, who was sacked on December 21 with the club 18th in the Championship, six points outside the relegation zone.

Cruyff urges Ajax duo to join Barca


Former Barcelona midfielder Jordi Cruyff has suggested that Matthijs De Ligt and Frenkie De Jong should snub all other offers to move to the Camp Nou in 2019.

The talented Ajax duo are two of Europe's most sought-after players with the likes of Paris Saint Germain, Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid all credited with an interest.

Amadou Diawara is keen to leave Napoli this month in search of first-team football, according to Calciomercato.

The 21-year-old has made just six starts for Carlo Ancelotti's side so far this season.

Fiorentina are said to be interested and considering an initial loan move for the Guinea international.

Inter Milan are considering summer moves for Manchester United's Ashley Young and Atletico Madrid duo Filipe Luis and Diego Godin, according to Calciomercato.

Bournemouth will allow striker Jermain Defoe to leave the club this month, according to Sky Sports.

The 36-year-old has struggled for regular first-team football this season, making just two starts and six substitute appearances in all competitions.

A number of clubs from the Premier League and Championship are believed to be interested in the former West Ham, Tottenham and Sunderland forward.


Chelsea accept Abraham bid


Chelsea have accepted an £18million bid from Wolves for striker Tammy Abraham, report The Sun.

Abraham is currently on a season-long loan at Aston Villa, where he has scored 16 goals in 20 appearances.

However, the 21-year-old is set to cut that loan short and complete a permanent move to Molineux instead.

Juventus confirm Ramsey interest


Serie A champions eye Arsenal star


Juventus have confirmed their interest in signing Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

The Welshman is set to leave the club on a free transfer in 2019 having failed to agree a contract extension at Emirates Stadium.

And Juve sporting director Fabio Paratici has now revealed that the Serie A leaders are looking at bringing in the 28-year-old, insisting that he is a "great player".

Duo set for Chelsea exit


Cesc Fabregas and Davide Zappacosta are set to leave Chelsea this month as they look to trim their squad following the £58million signing of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund, according to the Mirror.

Both Fabregas and Zappacosta have struggled for regular first-team football under Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge this season.

Fabregas is believed to be attracting the interest of Thierry Henry's Monaco while Zappacosta has been linked with a return to Italy with Lazio.


Tottenham concern over Eriksen contract


Tottenham are growing increasingly concerned about the future of Christian Eriksen with the Denmark international yet to sign a new contract, report the Standard.

Spurs remain hopeful the 26-year-old will commit his long-term future to the club but a deal on the table remains unsigned.

Eriksen has just 18 months left on his current deal so Tottenham would feel compelled to listen to offers for the midfielder in the summer should he fail to agree an extension.


Suarez set to leave Barcelona


Denis Suarez is expected to leave Barcelona this month but no deal is imminent, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Suarez has made just two starts for the Blaugrana this campaign so is looking to leave in order to secure regular first-team football.

The midfielder has just 18 months left on his contract at the Camp Nou so Barca are keen to do a deal this window, but Suarez is ready to bide his time before choosing his next club.

Monaco set to pursue Mamadou Sakho


AS Monaco have lined up Crystal Palace centre-back Mamadou Sakho as a January transfer target, according to L'Equipe.

The 28-year-old has been ever-present for the Eagles in the Premier League this season, impressing alongside James Tomkins in the heart of the defence.

Monaco are close to securing the signature of Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas and Sakho is next on their list, as club boss Thierry Henry aims to bolster his squad in a bid to avoid relegation from Ligue 1 in 2019.

Red Devils looking at making move for Roma ace

Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas in January, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Greek centre-back has a £34m ($43m) release clause in his current contract, which the Red Devils are considering activating this month.

A large number of defensive targets have been mooted at Old Trafford recently and caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might have to act quickly to land Manolas, with Arsenal and Chelsea also reportedly keen on the 27-year-old.

Valencia line up move for Chicharito


West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez`has emerged as a primary transfer target for Valencia, according to Marca.

The Spanish giants have scored just 15 goals in 17 La Liga matches this term and are hoping to bring in a new striker to solve their attacking woes on a six-month deal.

Chicharito has only managed four goals in 14 Premier League games this season, but it remains to be seen whether or not the Hammers will be willing to sanction a loan move as they target a top-half finish.

Pulisic to join Chelsea from Dortmund in £58m deal


Borussia Dortmund have confirmed on Wednesday that Christian Pulisic is joining Chelsea for £58 million (€64m/$73m).

The American midfielder will be loaned back to Dortmund for the remainder of the 2018-19 campaign, before joining up with his new teammates at Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Arsenal table £14m offer for Keylor Navas


Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas could be on the verge of a move to Arsenal, according to Diario Sport.

The Costa Rican has played second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois at the Santiago Bernabeu this season and is now looking to secure regular playing time elsewhere.

The Gunners have offered £14m ($18m) for Navas, in the hope that he can serve as a long-term replacement for veteran 'keeper Petr Cech.

Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia has been identified as a top transfer target by Real Madrid, according to Don Balon.

Atletico Madrid and Arsenal are also reportedly monitoring the 26-year-old's progress, after his brilliant first half of the season in La Liga.

The 21-year-old is set to cut short a loan spell at Aston Villa six months ahead of schedule, after hitting 16 goals in the Championship during the first half of the season.

Abraham is reportedly hoping to return to the Premier League and Wolves can trigger a clause in his current loan deal to bring him to Molineux in January.

Ndombele value set at €70m amid Man City links


Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele will cost Manchester City at least €70m ($80m/£63m), according to Tuttomercatoweb.

Paris Saint Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also monitoring the Frenchman's progress in Ligue 1, with a view to launching January bids.

City reportedly offered £45m for Ndombele during the summer, but Lyon are set to hold out for almost double that fee in 2019.

Diego to MLS?

The Mane Land, a site dedicated to Orlando City and the Orlando Pride, claims the Brazilian midfielder already has a deal in place to join the MLS side, but only is he can gain his release from Flamengo​.

The midfielder and the Brazilian side have had discussions on a new contract, but the report claims they are not close on the money and the 33-year-old is seeking his release with six months left on his current deal.

Man Utd battle Real Madrid for Militao


Porto defender drawing interest from Spain and England

Manchester United are set to compete with Real Madrid for Porto centre-back Eder Militao, according to Don Balon.  

The 20-year-old caught the eye of former United boss Jose Mourinho and while the Portuguese is gone the club still see the youngster as a good fit. 

Porto are asking €​40 million (£​36m/$46m) for the defender. Madrid have not been willing to match that number, but the Premier League side might.

Fabregas set for Monaco move


The midfielder will join his former team-mate Thierry Henry at the principality side

Chelsea midfielder ​Cesc Fabregas is set for a move to Monaco, Goal understands.

Fabregas is entering the final six months of his Chelsea deal and is prepared to move on with playing time hard to come by this season under Maurizio Sarri. 

The 31-year-old will link up with Monaco manager Thierry Henry, who was Fabregas' team-mate when the pair were at Arsenal between 2003 and 2007.

Sarri: Batshuayi and Abraham won't come back in January


Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has said on-loan pair Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham won't return to the club in January. 

With Olivier Giroud injured there has been speculation that the one or both players, at Valencia and Aston Villa respectively, could be recalled to help their parent club. 

But Sarri appears to have poured cold water on that notion.

Ramsey's contract will expire at season's end, and he is set to depart Arsenal with no new deal forthcoming.

West Ham eye McCarthy loan move


West Ham are considering a January loan move for Everton midfielder James McCarthy, reports the Daily Mail. 

The 28-year-old has returned to fitness after a double fracture of his right leg but has not featured for the Toffees at all this season. 

Fulham and West Brom are also eyeing a move for the Irish midfielder. 

Pochettino not concerned by Eriksen's contract status


Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has said he is not concerned about Christian Eriksen's contract situation with Spurs.

The Denmark international is in the midst of another stellar campaign, but there has been little movement on a new contract with Eriksen's current deal set to expire at the end of next season.
