Celtic accept Lyon bid for Dembele


The French striker will depart after spending two seasons at Celtic Park

Celtic have accepted a bid from Ligue 1 side Lyon for striker Moussa Dembele, the Scottish Premiership side have confirmed. 

The 22-year-old striker will move in a deal worth €22 million (£20m/26m).

Markovic set to leave Liverpool for good


Lazar Markovic’s time with Liverpool is at an end after the club agreed a fee with Anderlecht over the winger.

Goal can confirm the Reds will receive £2.9 million (€3.3m/$3.9m) for Markovic from the Belgian club, where he had spent the second half of the 2017-2018 season on loan.

Mesut Ozil has received a bizarre transfer offer from Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock ahead of Arsenal's trip to Wales this weekend.

Questioned whether or not he thought the German midfielder would be starting the tie, Warnock said: "I've got enough worries. He can come and play for me if he wants!"

The German defender looked set to move to Paris

Jerome Boateng has admitted to holding “interesting” talks with Paris Saint-Germain, but has no complaints at having seen Bayern Munich block a move to France.

It appeared at one stage as though a switch to Parc des Princes was on the cards for the experienced defender. However, Bayern would not lower their asking price of €50 million (£45m/$58m) for the 29-year-old, who is now determined to prove his worth in Munich.

Hatem Ben Arfa will wait until Sunday to decide which club he will join, according to RMC Sport.

The former PSG attacker is currently out of contract so can agree a new deal outside the transfer window and can allow the transfer window to close before finalising his own future.

Rafinha set to leave Barcelona


Real Betis and Benfica are both chasing Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, Marca reports.

The Primera Division side are better placed to sign the player because he feels he is better suited to their style of football. 

But while the Seville side are willing to pay his €25m (£22.5m/$29m) release clause, they are squabbling with Barcelona over future options to re-sign the player.

The publication say the Europa League hopefuls are very keen on the 20-year-old but offer no further details of the deal.

Everton striker Sandro Ramirez has joined Real Sociedad on a season-long loan.

The 23-year-old failed to establish himself in his first season at Goodison Park, and went on loan to Sevilla in the second half of 2017-18.

Everton confident they will keep Lookman

Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron is nearing a loan move to Queens Park Rangers, reports NBC Sports. 

The 33-year-old U.S. international will be on loan through January, when he will be able to leave the Potters on a permanent deal. 

Clubs from MLS, La Liga and other European leagues have shown interest in acquiring Cameron, who joined Stoke in 2012.

Real Madrid are eying ​Espanyol defender Mario Hermoso as a replacement for Jesus Vallejo, according to AS

Vallejo is nearing a one-year loan move to Real Sociedad, and Hermoso is Madrid's preferred option to fill the 21-year-old's shoes. 

Hermoso, 23, spent 11 seasons in Madrid's youth academy, and can play centre-back or left-back. He is available through a €15 million (£13m/$18m) buy-back clause.
