Lebogang Manyama has officially completed his move to Turkish side Atiker Konyaspor on a three-year-deal.

The 26-year-old capped off an amazing 2016/17 Premier Soccer League (PSL) season by being named PSL Footballer of the Season.

His exploits over the past 12 months saw him win over several admirers, including Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane.

While Sundowns were believed to be favourites for Manyama’s signature, Cape Town City boss John Comitis was reluctant to sell the player to another local club, opening the door for the Turkish-based outfit, and on deadline day, it was confirmed that Manyama would join the Turkish Super Lig side pending a medical.

Nevertheless, Manyama has been on international duty with Bafana Bafana as they took on Cape Verde in back-to-back 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers and was unable to finalise the deal, but with the international break now something of the past, the now former Citizens captain has passed his medical and subsequently finalised his move to Konyaspor.
