Having secured draws in their last two travels to Akure and Enugu, the Harmony Warrior is confident they can escape defeat in Jos

Shuaib Olanrewaju has backed Kwara United to return from Jos undefeated as they battle title holders Plateau United in a rescheduled Nigerian topflight tie on Thursday.

The Harmony Warriors enter this fixture having been held to a 1-1 draw by Go Round, and are still on a five-game unbeaten streak and will hope to build on the progress and cause an upset, thus attempting to move out of the relegation zone.

However, the defender feels securing an away result against the defending champions Peace Boys would be an uphill task for them but he still insists impossibility is nothing.

"It was sad we could not get the maximum points against Go Round last Sunday," Olanrewaju told Goal.

"We had many scoring chances in the match but could not take them and we were punished for it. It was unfortunate we drew that game but we have since moved on and focused on our next game against Plateau United.

"Jos is a very tough place to go and get points but we cannot condemn ourselves to defeat. We know playing against the defending champions will be another big challenge but I believe we are up to the task.

"We must put in everything within us and fight to avoid defeat in Jos in order to keep our survival hopes alive. We have managed to remain unbeaten in our last five matches and I believe we can come out of Jos with a positive good result."

A possible win at the New Jos Stadium could take Abubakar Bala's side out of the relegation places to 15th on the log.
