Singida United star Tafadzwa Kutinyu has claimed that Coach Hans van Pluijm was like a friend to him.
Speaking to Goal, the midfielder said he feels happy to work under the Dutchman and he wishes him all the best in his new era.
“I don’t have many things to say about Pluijm, he is a very good person and he was like my friend, I wish him all the best in his new era,” said Kutinyu.
The former Yanga Head Coach helped Singida United reach the FA Cup final were they will play Mtibwa Sugar on June 2.
Pluijm closed in on his Azam move after the club confirmed last week that the Dutchman will be leaving at the end of the season.
Goal understands that Pluijm has agreed a deal to become new Azam boss to replace Romanian Aristica Cioaba.
