KFC Moments of the Day: Nigeria emulate Senegal, Xhaka scores a screamer
KFC Moment of the Day 1
Nigeria made Africa proud by doing what Argentina failed to do in their second match of the tournament.
The Super Eagles eased past Iceland, who held the Argentines to a 1-1 draw, giving themselves a chance to make it into the knockout stages.
Ahmed Musa netted twice for the Nigerians, and this wasn't only a win for the Super Eagles, but for the entire African continent.
It is for this reason Africa should celebrate Nigeria and rally behind the team ahead of their final group match against Argentina.
KFC Moment of the Day 2
Granit Xhaka's stunning goal against Serbia will go down as one of the beautiful goals scored in the this year's tournament.
The midfielder inspired Switzerland to a come-from-behind win over the Serbians, who took the lead five minutes into the match.

The Arsenal man scored an absolute laser from outside the box. Xhaka is known for scoring screamers, but doing it at a global showpiece showed the whole world what he's capable of.
He went into the tournament as one of the dangermen for Switzerland, and the fact that he has now opened his goalscoring account, will no doubt make opposition defenders to keep an eye on him, especially if Switzerland make it past the group stages.
