KK Homeboyz feel Gor Mahia's Boniface Oluoch should have been punished on Saturday

Kakamega Homeboyz have come out to blame referee Andrew Juma for 'being unfair' when the club played against Gor Mahia on Saturday.

The club’s top official Gilbert Alushula says the centre referee watched Gor Mahia goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch dangerously step on striker Wycliffe Ochomo and he never even cautioned the keeper.

He explains that, Juma being Oluoch’s brother, should not be appointed to officiate any matches involving Gor Mahia in the league.

“I was surprised to see no action taken against Boniface Oluoch by referee Andrew Juma after the keeper dangerously tackled our striker Wycliffe Ochomo in that match.

“It is very unprofessional for a referee of Andrew Juma’s caliber to allow open mistakes and I think he should not be appointed to take charge of Gor Mahia matches in the future,” he told Goal.

Gor Mahia are currently at the top of the table from four matches.
