Two months into the fifth season of the Indian Super League 9ISL) and Delhi Dynamos are still hunting for their first win. However, Delhi boss Josep Gombau is happy with how his team has fared so far and is confident of bagging all three points against Mumbai.

"Tomorrow we have an important game against a very good side, Mumbai City FC. It's match-day 10 and we still don't have a win, But I think we have been playing well in the last couple of games. I have a lot of respect for Mumbai but I hope that we can put a good performance and win the game," the Spaniard stated on the eve of the clash.

"I think we played well and created a lot of chances against Goa and Bengaluru but could not finish well. This time the team is confident on putting the ball at the back of the net.

"We are focusing on finishing from the past two to three weeks in training. Finishing let us down against Bengaluru. We could have been up by two or three goals in the first half and killed the game against a team that is on the top of the table," Gombau continued.

The former FC Barcelona youth coach spoke about his goalkeeping dilemma and revealed that he was yet to take a call on who will be starting in goal on Monday

"Albino (Gomes) did well against Bengaluru and (Francisco) Dorronsoro is a good player too. But every game is different and we will be sitting today and discussing with the coaching staff on how to choose the best line-up that can help us tomorrow," the Dynamos boss said.

Adria Carmona put up an impressive performance against Bengaluru and earned some words of appreciation from his coach.

"Carmona was sidelined due to a long-term injury for one year. He's getting fit slowly and we are looking to slowly give him more and more minutes. He's a player who brings a lot to the team."

Mexican midfielder Ulises Davila has been linked with a move to Delhi but Gombau failed to provide any clarity on the matter, saying, "Today is game-day so my focus on getting the win tomorrow. I don't want to think about possible players that might join the team."

The Spaniard came to the defence of Lallianzuala Chhangte who has been at the receiving end of criticism for not finishing off chances.

"I think we are performing well and not getting the results that we deserve. Chhangte is a winger and naturally he will be taking a lot of shots. He must improve his finishing but I think he's a very good player. He's very young and I think he's growing as a footballer. He can become a special player for India in the future," Gombau said.
