The Houston Dynamo have announced Honduras international forward Romell Quioto will miss 2-4 weeks with a dislocated left shoulder.
Quioto suffered the injury in his country's 6-0 defeat to the United States in San Jose, Calif. last week. He was unable to participate in Honduras' 1-1 draw at home to Costa Rica on Tuesday.
Quioto has been off to a red-hot start for the surprising Dynamo, scoring one goal in each of the club's three games thus far in 2017. The 25-year-old was acquired in the offseason from Honduran side Olimpia.
The Dynamo, who have two wins and one loss in 2017, take on the New York Red Bulls on Saturday at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston.
