‘Happy birthday Oshoala’ – Football world celebrate African football queen at 24

The three-time African Women's Footballer of the Year is a year older today...

Fifa, the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF] and Nigeria internationals including Kelechi Iheanacho, Kenneth Omeruo, Kelechi Nwakali, Onome Ebi and Francisca Ordega have celebrated Asisat Oshoala on her 24th birthday.

The former Arsenal Ladies and Liverpool Ladies forward was a year older on Tuesday, October 9.

The Dalian Quanjian attacker guided Nigeria's women football team to back-to-back triumph in the African Women's Championship in 2014 and 2016.

She won the Golden Ball and Golden Boot awards at the 2014 Fifa U20 Women's World Cup and was also awarded the African Women's Footballer of the Year in 2014, 2016 and 2017, and have been sent best wishes on her big day.
