Accam, who joined Fire from Swedish club Helsingborg in 2015, has since been influential in the club's success and was adjudged the best player last season after scoring nine goals in 24 games.
He has netted 10 times this season for Fire after only 17 games including two assists as they hope to qualify for the playoffs.
Accam boasts of 10 international appearances with Ghana and has scored one goal.
