Gor Mahia have sealed the return of Kenneth Muguna on a three-year contract.

Muguna was a Gor Mahia player before he left the club to try out professional football in Albania with KF Tirana. The move however, flopped as the former player of the year sought to return home, despite having a four-year contract with the club.

Muguna is now a Gor Mahia player, after he penned a contract to return to the champions. An elated Muguna told Goal after he was unveiled, “I am very happy to return home, I call Gor Mahia home because this was my last club in Kenya before I left for Albania.

“I want to assure fans that I will give my best to help the team achieve the targets for next season. I am very elated to return to the Kenyan champions.”

The capture of Muguna comes just a day after K’Ogalo unveiled former Tusker midfielder Shafik Batambuze on a two-year contract.

The much-traveled Ugandan is expected to add depth in K’Ogalo's rank ahead of what promises to be a tough season as they prepare to defend the title as well as a chance to better their display in Caf Champions League.
