Godfrey Oboabona joins Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli

Super Eagles defender Godfrey Oboabona has put pen to paper on a year contract with Saudi Arabia’s side, Al-Ahli from Turkish’s Caykur Rizespor.
The club announced the capture of the Nigerian international on their social media on Friday.

Oboabona could not save the Black Sea Sparrowhawk from relegation last term after they finished 16th on the Super Lig log.
The player was snapped by the Turkish side in 2013 following his superb display at the African Cup of Nations with Nigeria.
