However, K’Ogalo CEO Omondi Aduda has confirmed to Goal that they will not be in a position to release the six players because ‘we have a tight schedule.’
The players with Harambee Stars are Francis Kahata, keeper Boniface Oluoch, Humphrey Mieno, Haroun Shakava, Philemon Otieno and Joash Onyango.
“We are not in a position to do without six of our key players for ten days…that is very impossible and we have already communicated the same to FKF. Yes, they (FKF) wrote to us asking that they keep the six players for the India tournament but we are not in a position to do the same.
“We have a game against Sony Sugar on Wednesday and then play the Super Cup from weekend. How on earth can we navigate such a tight schedule minus our key players?”
Goal understands that AFC Leopards have agreed to give out two players for the India tournament. They are Duncan Otieno and Michael Kibwage.
