Persija Jakarta's Riko Simanjuntak has been chosen as last week's Fans' Asian Player of the Week, following his impressive performance in his team's 4-2 win over Tampines Rovers in an AFC Cup Matchday six fixture.
Riko was exceptional, providing three assists, as the Indonesian side put in an impressive performance against their Singaporean opponents. He was also named Goal's Player of the Week.
Rezaldi Hehanusa controlled a cross from Riko and fired home expertly for the opening goal. Riko slid the ball across for Novri Setiawan who side-footed the ball into an open net in the 51st minute.
Also in the fray for the honour were Sekou Sylla of Yangon United and Julius Oiboh of Boeung Ket - both of whom were impressive in the games this past week.
But the fans made their voice count as Riko received a whopping 67% of the votes.
