EXTRA TIME: Watch Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana in Dubai and Paris

The South African national team has flown up to the United Arab Emirates before moving to Egypt for the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon)

The South African national team is one step closer to Egypt and are eagerly anticipating their Afcon campaign.

This is clear to see from how the Bafana Bafana players are buzzing to participate in the showpiece event in Cairo.

There are videos of the South African players on their way from Johannesburg to the United Arab Emirates. Then we can also watch the player's going through their training exercises to make sure their body remains in prime condition.

The videos highlight the work of Bafana physical trainer Joshua Smith who's with the players.

After playing Angola in their last preparation match next week Wednesday, Bafana will open up their Afcon account against Ivory Coast on June 24.

Their first friendly game will be against Ghana in Dubai on Saturday. Bafana Bafana will play against Namibia on June 28 and then Morocco on July 1 in their last group fixture.

We also showcase an excited Banyana Banyana camp who are looking forward to their second group game, against China in the Women's World Cup on Thursday.

South Africa lost their opening game 3-1 to Spain, so they have to beat China to give themselves a chance of progressing to the next round.

The Banyana official Twitter account shared some special footage of the team visiting the Eiffel Tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France.

There's also a touching moment when world athletics star, Caster Semenya visited the Banyana team, wishing them luck for the game against China.
