We remember when Bafana Bafana returned home after picking up a 0-0 draw away in Seychelles during their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
The airport was very quiet when receiving the men's national team last year, and one wondered what type of reception Banyana Banyana would receive on Wednesday.
Banyana were embarrassed 4-0 against Germany in their last World Cup game on Monday, crashing out in the group stage.
When supporters turn up in their numbers after a victory, it is amazing, but when they do so after defeat then it is even more impressive.
Watch videos of Banyana back in town, as well as footage of them leaving France in the Tweets below.
