Ghanaian striker Joe Dodoo is eager to get going for English League One side Blackpool after sealing a loan move from Scottish outfit Rangers.
The 22-year-old is set to spend the season at Bloomfield Road, having struggled for game time at Ibrox Stadium.
The forward, who spent some time with Charlton Athletic last season, has made just five league starts for Rangers since joining from Leicester City in 2016.
"We can get started from pre-season and build a solid foundation to what we’re trying to achieve throughout the season,” Dodoo told Blackpool's official website.
“I’m looking forward to getting to know the lads and the staff.
"Hopefully I can come in, play all through the season, win games and achieve things.
“I want to score as many goals as possible and set up goals.
"I want to be a big influence in the dressing room and a big influence on the pitch. I want us to achieve things."
Despite opportunities being far and few between, Dodoo managed three goals for Rangers in his first season.
He reckons the desire to perform will serve him well at his new home.
“It [Rangers] is a demanding place where you have to win every game," the Kumasi-born remarked.
"It’s important to bring that same feeling and mentality here."
Dodoo was also once on the books of English lower tier side Bury FC.
