Dieumerci Ndongala found the back of the net in Genk’s 1-1 stalemate with Club Brugge in Saturday’s Belgian First Division A tie.

Philippe Clement’s men extended their unbeaten run to six games across all competitions at the Luminus Arena, with the 27-year-old starring.

Ndongala put the Blue-White in front after 10 minutes to take his goal tally to three in 13 league games.

Siebe Schrijvers ensured that his visiting side did not leave empty-handed by securing them a point with his 53rd-minute effort.

Ndongala featured for 73 minutes before he was substituted for Edon Zhegrova while Tanzania international Mbwana Samatta was on parade for the entire duration of the game.

Despite the draw, Genk maintain their lead on the league table with 34 points from 14 games. Next, they take on Besiktas in Thursday's Uefa Europa League tie.
