Wilfried Zaha is delighted after breaking Crystal Palace's all-time goalscoring record in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old’s consolatory strike in their 2-1 loss to Watford on Sunday ensured that he overtook Chris Armstrong to become the Eagles’ top scorer in the English top-flight with 24 goals.

After beating Amstrong who previously held the record with 23 goals, the former Manchester United winger hopes to score 'many more' for the south London club.

“Thanks for all your messages. Happy to be the record goalscorer for [Crystal] Palace in the Premier League and hope I can score many more for the club,” Zaha posted on Instagram.

Zaha who recently signed a contract extension with Palace has registered two goals in three games this season.

He will be looking to add to the tally in their next league tie against Southampton at the Selhurst Park on September 1.
